To read PDF files you would need Acrobat Reader:

  1. If you do not have access to Acrobat Reader, click on the Get Acrobat Reader icon above.
  2. This will take you to the Acrobat website from where you can download Acrobat Reader 7.0 or Acrobat Reader 8.0.
  3. Complete all items on the form and select your correct "platform" eg Windows XP.
  4. Click "download" and save the file to your desktop.
  5. After download complete * click Acrobat Reader file to install on your machine.
  6. You can now open and print all Acrobat files. Alternately, you can right-click on the link to the required PDF document, and select the option which reads "Save Target As..", thereby saving the document to a convenient location on your own computer for later viewing.

    * Please note that this file is approximately 5 MB, accordingly the download time may be substantial, depending on your connection speed.

    Warning! The Acrobat Reader 6.0 is a 15 MB download, which will take very long to download.

Office

What if I don't have Microsoft Office to view PowerPoint-Powerpoint, Excel-Excel or Word-Word documents?
You may still be able to open the documents in a comparable program. You can also browse to the Microsoft Office website and download a viewer, which will allow you to view and print all these kinds of files, but not edit them or create new files.

Windows Media Player is the most ubiquitous application for viewing movie files and playing sound files. WinZip and Stuffit are two programs that allow you to compress files into a folder for sending via email, the internet or over a network. WinZip is used for PC users while Stuffit is for the Macintosh.

What is the Microsoft® Outlook Contact item and what do I need to use it?
If one sends and receives e-mail via Microsoft® Outlook or Microsoft® Outlook 2002 (not Outlook Express), one may have used the contact function it contains (also known as a vCard). One can save a person's contact details from the link directly into your address book.

What is the Microsoft® Outlook Calendar function and what do I need to use it?
If one sends and receives e-mail via Microsoft® Outlook or Outlook 2002 (not Outlook Express), one may have used the calendar function it contains. One can set appointments that stay in the calendar and give you advance warning of the appointment. This website uses these appointments for important financial dates, that one may save which will warn you a day in advance of financial disclosures.
