NAME CHANGE FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the results of annual general meeting announcement released on the Stock
Exchange News Service (‘SENS”) on 28 July 2021, wherein Altron shareholders were advised of the
approval of the special resolution in relation to the Change of Name.
The Company has received confirmation from the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission
(“CIPC”) of the registration of the special resolution for the Change of Name. The Change of Name of the
Company will change from Allied Electronics Corporation Limited to Altron Limited, the ISIN number –
ZAE000191342 and JSE share code – AEL will retain history (“Change of Name”).
Trading under the new name on the JSE Limited (“JSE”) commences on 25 August 2021.
The salient dates and times relating to the Change of Name are set out hereunder:

Receipt of CIPC registration of Change of Name special resolution Monday, 16 August
Last day to trade prior to Change of Name becoming effective Tuesday, 24 August
List and trade of new A ordinary shares
Trading commences on the JSE under new name (Termination of trading of old
shares on JSE trading system and Termination of trading on the JSE of old
name) Wednesday, 25 August
Record Date Friday, 27 August
Change of Name becomes effective for all purposes and CSDP and broker
accounts updated with new name Monday, 30 August
Notes:
Shares may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between commencement of trade on Wednesday, 25
August 2021 and the close of trade on Friday, 27 August 2021.
