Press Release

Xerox first for All @ One Stop

The first all-in-one design and print shop in Cape Towns exclusive Atlantic seaboard suburb of Sea Point, All @ One Stop, has officially opened for business sporting a range of new Xerox printers from Cape Office Machines and Bytes Document Solutions.

Located at the heart of Sea Points Main Road shopping district, All @ One Stop purchased the Xerox Colour C70, Xerox D110 copier/printer and Xerox Workstation 7835 to deliver a broad range of high-quality colour, black-and-white, and tabloid-size printing products. These include standard stationery products such as business cards, letterheads, envelopes and flyers, black-and-white and colour copies and prints, and a complete range of supporting products such as license disks, posters, banners, flags, vinyl prints and signage. All @ One Stop managing director Stavros Koukoufikis says the all-in-one print and design concept was borne of the sheer lack of options available in the immediate area, and the growing demand from local residents and businesses for a full-service print shop. For such a booming area, with a high profile business sector and mid-to-high income demographic, theres a distinct lack of high-quality printing and design options available, short of travelling through traffic to the city, says Koukoufikis.

Our clientele is discerning individuals and small-to-medium size businesses for whom quality and reliability is a given, which meant Xerox was the only name in town as far as high-volume, high-quality, cost effective printing was concerned, he says. But more than that what were trying to create is the ultimate one-stop experience for our customers, which goes beyond great printing to include facilities for postage and courier services, refreshments, a barista-run café, free parking, and even refueling and car service options. In fact were located on the same property as the Total garage, which is a well-known service landmark for local residents. Koukoufikis says the three Xerox machines were recommended by Cape Office Machines as the ideal starting point for a new but rapidly-growing printing business with designs on scaling up production and meeting expanded demand in a short space of time. Cape Office Machines director Stuart Daniels says any new printing business needs to consider the types of services its going to offer given the demand and competition already available to potential customers.

Service can make or break a printing business, says Daniels. There's zero leeway for taking risks with the quality, reliability, colour matching and maintenance requirements of the equipment. New customers don't want to hear excuses and first impressions are all-important. These three machines are proven workhorses at many of South Africas premier business printing centres, and give All @ One Stop incredible flexibility for expansion while keeping quality high and costs competitive. The Xerox Colour C70 is a scalable, affordable solution providing printing, copying,  scan to email, scan to folder, scan to PC and USB functionality from one machine. It includes a high-resolution 2400×2400 dpi print engine rated at up to 70 ppm with a variety of media, including paper stock up to 300 gsm. With print speeds of up to 100 ppm and scanning speeds up to 200 ipm, the Xerox D110 provides customers with super-fast turnaround on volume jobs without compromising on quality. A high-volume printer/copier, the D110 will mostly be on duty as a cost-effective, high-quality black-and-white complement to the C70.

The Xerox Workstation 7835 rounds off the trio with a highly-connected, wireless station for a variety of attention-grabbing colour and black-and-white printing from almost any device. Wi-Fi and Apple Airprint-compatible, the 7835 simplifies one-touch printing, scanning and copying for both walk-in and remote customers. That we have the right equipment is not a question, its what we do with it that's going to make a real difference to our customers, says Koukoufikis. The current plan is to open a new shop every two years, and that will only happen if word of mouth is exceptional, and our customers leave us satisfied with the service every time. It's early days but so far so good. We've had zero downtime and positive feedback from everyone thats walked into the store.
